I'm surprised. There is no question that Miraval Resorts & Spas is synonymous with the peak of luxury wellness and healing. Their properties are stunning, their positioning is unique. Therefore, I expected their email design to be just as elevated as their other brand elements. While the ingredients for a high-end email design that does justice to their brand standards are there, the way they are used in this email is lacking. As per usual, my biggest concern is how accessibility design standards are overlooked in several areas.

Feels nice and warm
Includes a combo of text and images
Good use of custom illustration in the footer
CONS
Logo is too small and tight at the top
Typography treatment could be better in section right under the header image
Interesting graphic design treatment of all the 'be inspired' sections but could be more impactful
Photography could be used in a way to make the reader feel more immersed in the experience
Too much info in too small of a space
The Miraval Aviara section at the bottom could be a lot nicer/larger and more impactful.
