The Challenge
Quark Expeditions needed a way to align their email communications with the expectations of their luxury travel clientele. Their existing designs lacked the sophistication and modularity necessary to appeal to this market segment. They needed elevated emails that look modern and allow for consistent adaptability to keep their campaigns fresh and engaging.
The SOlution
We took a unique approach by repurposing Quark Expeditions’ existing photography and video assets. Using editorial layout techniques, we were able to elevate the email designs to a new level of sophistication. The modular system we developed allowed Quark to mix and match different design pods, ensuring their emails remained dynamic and visually appealing over time. This approach provided flexibility while maintaining a cohesive, high-end brand image that drew readers in and encouraged them to engage further.
The Result
The redesigned email series were a hit with Quark Expeditions, who reported excellent click-thru rates (CTR)—a clear testament to the effectiveness of the design. Quark’s satisfaction with the designs underscored their success, as achieving high CTR is considered the ultimate compliment in email design. The new modular system resonates with their luxury audience and provides the versatility needed for ongoing campaigns.
